WORKING WITH GOODFOLK
A whistle stop tour of how we differ from traditional search firms.
With over 40 years of multi-functional work experience between us and an extensive network across multiple brands, we know where to find candidates with top notch experience who come with personal recommendations and can make a rapid and accurate assessment of who makes it onto your short list.
What you see is what you get: everyone pays the same and you pay for results. No hidden costs. No nasty expense bills. No hidden agendas. We're good, decent folk who want to help your business grow.
There's more to finding the right candidate than a CV match. We take the time to get to know your business, brand and culture intimately up front so we can obsess about fit as well as skillset. And ensure your candidate profiles bring texture and personality as well as a skillset overview.

The process from partnership sign off to a great new hire is slick and simple;
(1)
Brief
This is where we learn all there is to know about you, your business and why it is you’re looking to recruit.
We will have lots of questions - the ones we know great candidates will really want the answers to. Where appropriate we will take the time to visit you in your offices and absorb as much of your culture as we can. Our aim here is to do the heavy lifting for you and ensure we produce a job description which will inspire top talent to apply.
(2)
Search
Our search will last 3-4 weeks, with regular updates on our progress.
We will spend time identifying and contacting qualified candidates using a disciplined approach to search, along with targeted networking and seeking recommendations from our contacts. We will discuss your opportunity with them, using the rich insight gained during the brief, before inviting a number of candidates to our interview stage.
(3)
Assess & Introduce
Our assessment is rigorous and the shortlist presented to you will include a detailed overview of each candidate, covering both suitability and fit.
Having worked with you to determine the critical success factors for the role, we will meet candidates for a discussion and thorough assessment of their skills, fit and motivation. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to write a personal statement of interest which we will share with you alongside a detailed assessment that covers their capability, suitability, motivation and fit. You will also receive a full run down of the candidate’s compensation and notice period.
(4)
Select & Secure
We support you, where needed, through your own assessment process through to a formal offer for your preferred candidate.
We will ensure the candidate is kept positive and motivated through the selection process, and will then work alongside you to present a financial offer for your preferred candidate. In the background we will conduct thorough referencing on the candidate and support them through their resignation and release process.
(5)
Start & Support
We remain actively involved with you and your joiner through their notice period and beyond.
We stay firmly in contact with your new joiner and can agree ways to keep them engaged with your organisation between contract signing and start date. We can also support you with the creation of a robust onboarding plan and will maintain regular contact with your new team member - and you - for those crucial first 90 days to understand how we can support you and them to be successful.
